Privacy Policy

FragranceBros is run by Jordan and his brother. This page explains what this website collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything, and there are no accounts.

What we collect

• Suggestions you submit. When you drop a fragrance or a video idea in "You pick, we film," we store the text you typed and when you sent it.
• Your votes. We record which suggestions got an upvote, so each person can only vote once per idea.
• A random device ID. Your browser generates a random code and keeps it in local storage. It's how we count one vote per device and slow down spam. It isn't linked to your name, email, or social accounts, and we only store a scrambled (hashed) version of it.

We don't ask for your name, email, age, location or any account, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Where it's stored

Suggestions and votes are stored in a Google Sheet owned by FragranceBros, through Google Apps Script. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy. This site is hosted by Netlify, which may keep standard server logs, like IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Content from TikTok and other platforms

The follower count, likes and "Latest video" card show public information about our own FragranceBros accounts, refreshed automatically from our public profiles. The video thumbnail loads directly from TikTok's servers. We don't access any visitor's TikTok, YouTube or Instagram account. Links to those platforms take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.

What's public

Suggestions that pass our filter appear publicly on the site along with their vote counts. Please don't include personal information in a suggestion. We may hide or remove any suggestion at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep suggestions and votes for as long as the "You pick, we film" feature runs, and delete them when we no longer need them. You can clear your device ID any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Kids

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

If you want a suggestion you submitted removed, or have any question about this policy, email us at fragrancebrosofficial@gmail.com and tell us what you submitted and roughly when.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
